BIO
I'm an artist and designer creating original prints for the Apparel and Home Furnishing markets.
I've been working as a freelance designer for over 20 years. My formal art training includes painting, printmaking and photography, as well as, studying textile design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.
I find inspiration everywhere, from nature to architecture, photography, literature, world cultures, found patterns, textures and objects. All of my designs start with sketches and hand-drawn motifs which I then develop into hand-drawn designs and/or process digitally in Photoshop and Illustrator.
I love experimenting with a variety of media and techniques to create unique textures and patterns, ranging from gouache, watercolor, printmaking, pen and ink and collage.
